The new Beta version of the Slot Tournaments toolbar is now available. It contains a live
ticker showing the next tournament, a countdown from 20 minutes and various menu options
to information.
View the live schedule » Download Toolbar (ver. Beta 1.02 - zip, 442kb, 9th Nov 07) Author: Simmo! - email: webmaster (at this website) Why? Because I got fed up starting the casino to check the next tournament time, forgetting to register or forgetting to play in the freerolls! About The toolbar consists of a drop-down menu linking to information and the website, plus a "live" ticker (read from a remote XML input for the techies out there) displaying the next tournament start time in your local time. Each tournament name is a link which can be clicked to view the complete schedule of tournaments. A countdown is also provided leading into the tournament. This displays in a green box (see screenshot above) when there is between 20 and 10 minutes remaining, turning red when it's 10 minutes or less until the tournament starts. For 10 minutes following the tournament start (or until you restart the browser), a blue "In Play" box will show up before refreshing the next tournament. The toolbar drop-down menu is updated silently when necessary. No information is passed from you or your PC to the server - it's purely incoming traffic - and there is no registration required to install or use the toolbar. No cookies were harmed during the development of the Slot Tournament Toolbar - because it doesn't use them :-) Requirements Windows 2000, XP or Vista and Internet Explorer 6 or later. NB: Some versions of Windows Vista may reject the toolbar as "potentially harmfull" as it does not have a security certificate. You may have to lower your security settings to install it. Install Instructions Download the zip file and run the .exe file therein. Restart Internet Explorer and the toolbar should be working automatically. You can rearrange the toolbar to place it where you see fit by clicking the "View/Toolbars" menu in Internet Explorer and unchecking "Lock The Toolbars". Then drag the toolbar to where you want it. Then re-lock the toolbar via the menu. To uninstall the toolbar, click on the Slot Tournaments Toolbar menu, select "Toolbar Options / Uninstall Toolbar". Alternatively do it from Windows via "START / Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs".
